Hello! Viewer (Professor Laskin and Weyn)

My name is Christine Bascombe and this is my Portfolio showcasing all my work from my FIQWS class. In my class, we studied Children’s Literature and The Construct of Childhood. We talked about many different books from picture books to YA. We learned to pick apart and analyze them from and social and psych point of view. I discovered new favorites such as Brown Girl Dreaming by Jaqueline Woodson. I am very glad to have been apart of this course, learning the important skill of writing. Although we were on zoom, I am grateful to have gotten to know you all!
